Sixaxis Controller is an Android application which allows the Sixaxis and DualShock 3 Playstation controllers to be used as bluetooth input devices on many mobile phones and tablets. This enables the ultimate gaming experience to be had in a completely portable form factor.

Up to four controllers are supported at once, and key mappings are completely configurable, as well as the analog sticks, which are currently emulated as digital key presses.

Important - Due to the non-standard protocol that the controllers use to communicate with the host, this application requires root access. Additionally, it is incompatible with most HTC devices and some newer Samsung devices. This is due to the required bluetooth protocol not being implemented on these devices. We are actively looking into a work around, but currently the only solution is to install a custom firmware, such as Cyanogenmod, that supports the required protocols.

It is strongly recommended that you first test your Android device using the 'Sixaxis Compatibility Checker' app, available for free from the Market, before purchasing the 'Sixaxis Controller' app. If your device is compatible, you will be able to see your button presses show up once you have correctly configured the controllers.

To allow controllers to be used with your device, you must download and install the SixaxisPairTool from here. This will allow you to pair the controller with your device.

Instructions

1. Download and install the application from the Android Market. It is highly recommended that you first download the 'Sixaxis Compatibility Checker' app to make sure your phone is compatible before purchasing the full application.


2. Tap the 'start' button and wait for bluetooth to initiate. If you get an 'Error: Missing required protocol' message, your device is not supported.


3. If not already done, you must manually pair the controller with your phone. This can be done using 'SixaxisPairTool', or with 'MotionInJoy' or the linux utility 'sixpair'. Your phones bluetooth address should be shown at the bottom of the main application window and will look something like 1A:3C:13:00:21:C2; you need to enter this number into the 'SixaxisPairTool' as shown. This process only needs to be done the first time a controller is used on a different device, so if you only use the controller on one phone, you will only need to do it once.


4. Once paired, unplug the USB cable and press the power button on the controller. If successful, the lights on the controller will stop blinking and a single light will remain on.


5. If you are running the compatibility checker, and pressing buttons on the controller results in button presses showing up in the app, congratulations, you can now download the full app.


6. Tap the 'Change Input Method' button and select 'Sixaxis Controller'. You should now be able to use the controller in any games or applications that support key bindings, such as many emulators.


7. Subsequent controllers can be added at any time by pressing their power buttons.


8. You can change the fallback input method and key mappings in the applications settings.

A few tips to improve your gameplay experience:
-in Landscape orientation DPAD and Main 4 buttons are activated, if you want to activate all others, go in menu/input/touchscreen and select others buttons.
-Create a default configuration by setting your desired options and then selecting “Default Config Save” in the System Menu.
-CALL, BACK, VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons can be assigned as PSone buttons but can be used is not assigned.
-Guncon emulation requires the A and B buttons to be mapped to Hardware keys. By default: L3 = A and R3 = B.
-SPUSync is required for proper sound quality in certain games such as MGS and FFVII.
-Frameskip set to 50 will avoid sound stuttering on load end device or with somes games that use much CPU.

2. Download File Overclock here There are 2 files and CODE OPS [at bottom]
3. If you have downloaded, then to extrack to drive agan for example in the D drive (try in its own folder)
4. Then open the Odin Multi Downloader
5. Click the "OPS" and locate the file OPS extract-an earlier ...
6. then click the "PDA" and locate the file, extract the code themselves in an earlier
7. Have been filled both like the picture above ..

advantages ? ---- its awesome , my phone runs much smoother , a lot more responsive .....
disadvantage ? havent found one yet . i assumed it would affect battery life , but it really hasnt .

from what i hear , its technically not "overclocking" . its changing the frequency of the processer . its set at 384mhz high and 248 low . i set mine to 528mhz high and 248 low . htc rated the processer at 528mhz .

Yes - there is a real risk of you damaging your phone.

In short, while he PROCESSOR is designed to run at higher clock speeds, it's designed to do so in a completely different environment (such as in a metal box, with a heatsink and fan). As the G1 has zero cooling (no heatsinks, no fans, just a nice insulating plastic body to keep it warm) there is a real risk of heat damage.

To overclock your phone, you need a rooted phone (i.e. root access), then you can either edit a specific file yourself that dictated the clock speed, or there's an app on the market to do it for you.

Aside from the risks of damage to your phone, the gain is mostly in people's heads. The phone is RARELY CPU locked, and is usually IO locked. What this means is that most lag or slowness in the phone is called by reading or writing data to/from memory, graphics, or SD card, and NOT by the processor being slow or maxed out.

This can be seen in benchmarks people have performed before and after overclocking. People who run computational benchmarks get an increase in peformance that almost matches the increase in clock speed (i.e. a 30% increase in clock speed gives a near 30% increase in the benchmarks), but people performing benchmarks that involve graphics, read/writing, or large amounts of memory (as is much more typical of Android apps), only show around a 10th of the overall increase. It's really not worth it.

Syarat
